Outdoor Speakers

Outdoor speakers are a great addition to any outdoor living space. Whether entertaining or just relaxing on your own, they can set the mood for the moment. There is a limited choice of speakers available currently but the competition should improve now that outdoor living is becoming more popular. Speakers can be expensive but if your looking for something small then the price is well worth it. I chose a small pair of speakers and installed them opposite sides of my patio. They have sufficient sound for my purpose but would not satisfy someone in need of heavy bass.

Once my flowers grow with the season the speakers become virtually invisible. Just be sure to remember were the wiring is when planting, I've cut through mine more than once.

I like to play more rhythmic music like American Indian music or African music. They are also great for nature sound cds, you can even make your neighbors think it's storming on a sunny day. Since we have a privacy fence, the sound tends to stay within the property. I often go out after a hard day at the office and listen to the rhythmic sounds while swinging under the covered arbor. I have the stereo inside on the main level of the house. I ran the wiring through the basement and outside at ground level. It was very easy, just like setting your stereo up inside. Just make sure the OHMS of the speakers match the stereo's output.

Outdoor speakers are one accessory everyone should invest in. They provide entertainment, relaxation and joy for homeowners and guests alike.
