Patio Flame

Patio flame is a perfect addition for anyone who wants to enjoy outdoor living in the evening or night time. Flame is not only cheap but it sets a relaxing and hypnotic mood. There are several choices that have a wide range of prices.

Tea lights are an inexpensive way to add low level light. There are several tea light holders intended for outdoor use, usually in some form of lantern style. The enclosure blocks the wind and still vents the flame. There are also patio torches that offer an inexpensive way to have patio flame. They use a liquid fuel and can burn for several hours. They are nice in the fact that they can be moved at any time.

On the other end of the price scale are outdoor fireplaces . They can be precast or built from scratch with different materials. Check local ordinances before committing to anything since some towns do not allow burning in backyards . When that's the case a gel burner is a perfect solution. Gel burners come in a wide variety of sizes and styles. They use a liquid gel that can burn for 3 or more hours. Also consider adding a

firepit that burns wood. They come in a variety of styles, sizes and price ranges. They typically burn scrape wood so the environment is not affected. They are perfect for placement in the middle of a conversation area. Just be sure not to over do it, they are intended for lower level flame only.

Who could forget the standard barbeque grill? This is the type of flame that most people have in their yard. A barbeque grill is not your typical decorative flame but it is a flame. Most grills are charcoal or propane types that have a wide range of sizes, colors and options. One of the best known is Weber Grills, they are known for lasting.

In my own yard I have gone with a couple of smaller gel burners elevated within my beds and some lantern style tea lights. At some point I intend to add a small free-standing chimenea. This is a nice solution to having a built in fireplace or firepit. I like it to be mobile since I never know if we are going to have to move.

Adding any type of patio flame to a backyard is a great feature for guests, lighting, design and pest deterring. There are a sufficient number of choices available to meet everyones tastes and needs. Just remember to consider safety with regards to your children and pets . Now it's time to light up and enjoy.
